• Skills tested: reading and writing
• Focus: practical legal vocabulary in authentic situations; basic grammar.
• General English level: A2
• Score: The maximum score possible at Foundation level is 100
• Cerrtificate: TOLES Foundation with score explanation.

• 2 sessions/week
• 16 sessions/8 weeks
• 105 minutes/ session
• Foreign teachers

c. Learners

• Those who have taken Pre-Legal English course or Pre-TOLES course.
• Those whose general English is adequate to register for Elementary course (2-skill TOEIC at least 400, or IELTS at least 3.5)
• Those who have never taken TOEIC or IELTS, but whose result in the H&M entrance is at least A2.

d. Course overview

• The TOLES Foundation course is the recommended starting point in legal English training for both law students and experienced lawyers.
• The learners will get familiar with the vocabulary, grammar and the format of the TOLES exam. In addition, the TOLES Foundation course raises awareness of the real tasks that lawyers perform in law offices.
• Practice exams will be held once a month to help the learners become familiar with the feelings and pressure of sitting in the exam room. These exams will also be used to evaluate the learners' level and progress in order to help them well-prepared for the real TOLES Foundation exam.
